Scope of Work
The contractor will provide all necessary tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, and labor for comprehensive cleaning, decontamination, removal, and disposal of copper and hazardous waste. This includes:
- Decontaminating and cleaning the 25-meter range, including the floor, firing platform, backstop plates, and areas behind the bullet trap.
- Removing copper dust and all debris (hazardous and nonhazardous).
- Replacing "skinny" barrels from the Dust Collection Unit (DCU) and Auger system at least twice annually, and DCU filters as needed.
- Utilizing an explosion-proof HEPA filtered vacuum for lead dust and nitro cellulose. Services are to be performed monthly at the Combat Arms 25-meter indoor firing range, Bldg 1235, 747 12th Street, Whiteman Air Force Base.
