Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products, issued in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6. It constitutes the only solicitation, and quotes are being requested. A written solicitation will not be issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 212319, with a size standard of 550 employees. This requirement is a Small Business set-aside.

• Procurement of approximately 16,000 tons of Type 2 Class B base course aggregate.

• Delivery and placement of aggregate on Hunter Road at the Stillwater National Wildlife Refuge in Fallon, NV.

• The road will be resurfaced for a 6.25-mile length, resulting in a maximum 24-foot-wide roadway with a 6-inch lift of gravel surface.

• Aggregate must conform to specific technical specifications (Type 2 Class B base course, crushed stone with angular shapes, plasticity index of 6 or less, and meet requirements in Tables 200.01.02-1, 200.01.03-I, and 200.01.03-II).

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

The US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) requires resurfacing of 6.25 miles of Hunter Road at the Stillwater National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) Complex in Fallon, NV.

• Deliver approximately 16,000 tons of Type 2 Class B base course aggregate to Hunter Road.

• The road will be a maximum 24-foot-wide roadway with a 6-inch lift gravel surface.

• The contractor is responsible for furnishing all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment for delivery.

• Deliveries will be dumped directly onto the roadway.

• Final road shaping and grading will be performed by refuge staff.
