Quick Summary
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), specifically the Phoenix VA Healthcare System, has issued an amendment to RFQ 36C26226Q0296 for Patient Record CD Burners and Software. This Total Small Business Set-Aside opportunity seeks six (6) CD/DVD burner systems capable of simultaneously processing at least four disks, along with associated software, installation, and training. The amendment clarifies technical specifications and extends the response deadline. Offers are now due Friday, January 30, 2026, by 12:00 PM PST.
Scope of Work
The requirement is for six (6) units of DMC-EZ 250TRF Epson PP100iii Patient Record CD Burners and DMC-EZ Version 3X Software, or equivalent, for the Phoenix VA Healthcare System. Key requirements include:
- Hardware: Desktop-compatible systems (under 100 lbs) with Windows 11 OS, Intel i5+ processor, 16GB+ RAM, 512GB+ SSD, 19-24 inch monitor, keyboard, mouse, and a disk label printer. Crucially, the CD/DVD burners must be capable of processing at least four (4) disks simultaneously. The previously mentioned Epson PP-100III (2 burners) is not the sole acceptable model; other systems meeting the 4-burner specification are welcome.
- Software: Must import images from VISTA Imaging and AGFA PACS via DICOM, compress images to CD/DVD, burn at least 4 disks simultaneously, print customizable labels, and utilize a web portal for multiple users. Software must have an existing Enterprise Risk Assessment by VHA for VA network connection.
- Services: Installation, application training (including restore log files and order counts), and a first-year advance exchange hardware warranty with same-day software maintenance.
