- Performance: Must maintain a minimum Speed of Advance (SOA) of 13 knots in moderate weather.
- Certifications: Current Class Society Safety Management Certificate, Flag State International Ship Security Certificate, and USCG Certificate of Inspection (U.S. flag) or Certificate of Compliance (foreign flag).
- Condition: Clean, gas-free, ready for internal tank inspection, and compatible with cargo per MIL-STD-3004-1 and Energy Institute HM 50.
