Statement of Requirement (SOR)

To acquire and install ergonomically sound, technologically integrated, and durable console furniture for the Fire Department 911 dispatch (ECC) Center at Joint Base Langley-Eustis. The goal is to enhance dispatch efficiency, comfort, and communication capabilities, thereby improving service to the community.

• Procurement and installation of 5 modular console workstations and 5 ergonomic dispatch chairs.

• Workstations include:

  • Two Fire Dispatch Workstations (1 & 2) to be situated together with a shared storage unit.
  • One Fire Dispatch Supervisor Workstation (3).
  • Two Security Forces Alternate Workstations (4 & 5) to be situated together.

• Provision of one power-enabled Island/Map Holder/Workstation/Table.

• Installation includes delivery, assembly, cabling management, quality checks, and disposal of packaging materials.

• On-site training for dispatch personnel on the use and adjustment of the console furniture.

• Workstations:

  • Must be heavy-duty, capable of 24/7 use, and ADA compliant.
  • All workstations to be GREY in color and match in design and height adjustability.
  • Height adjustable (minimum 25-50 inch range), powered and quiet.
  • High-pressure laminate work surface (minimum 1 inch thick), durable, scratch-resistant, and non-glare.
  • Designed for noise reduction and sound dampening.
  • Monitor mounts to support a minimum of six (6) 24" monitors per workstation, fully adjustable.
  • Comprehensive cable management systems.
  • Minimum one lockable Box Box File Pedestal for personal storage (except for Workstations 4 & 5).
  • Ambient task lighting with dimming capabilities.
  • Ergonomic keyboard trays & wrist rests (required for Workstations 1-3).

• Island/Map Holder/Workstation/Table:

  • Power-enabled with one duplex outlet.
  • Multipurpose functionality: storage area with map holders and shelves.
  • Dimensions: 3'6" height x 6' length x 3' width.
  • Open storage area in the middle to allow chair access from either side.
  • Must match the rest of the furniture.

• Dispatch Chairs:

  • Adjustable height, lumbar support, armrests, and back tilt.
  • Upholstered in durable, breathable fabric.
  • Weight capacity of at least 300 lbs.
  • Minimum 1-year warranty.
  • BLACK color.

• Delivery and installation must be completed within 45 days ARO (After Receipt of Order).

• Warranty: Minimum 7-year warranty on all console furniture components and the Island, covering defects in materials and workmanship. On-site repair or replacement services within 10 business days of notification.
