Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide a comprehensive laundry chemical service for the Environmental Management Service at the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System (VAHCS).

• Furnish, deliver, install, and program all required laundry chemicals and dispensing equipment.

• Ensure full functionality of the chemical dispensing system, including any necessary building modifications at the Contractor's expense.

• Provide chemicals compatible with specified Milnor and McClure laundry equipment.

• Emphasize quality and consistency of customer service.

• Partnership and Continuous Improvement: Recommend process enhancements, conduct production floor reviews, and stay aligned with industry best practices.

• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain dispensing equipment for optimal functionality, provide formula summaries, daily/total usage reports, proof of delivery, automated calibration, and water flush on each chemical delivery. No peristaltic pumps allowed.

• Service Schedule: Monitor chemical levels bi-weekly and perform wash quality tests (water softness, chlorine strength, wash titrations, pH, temperature) bi-weekly.

• Linen Quality: Maintain a stained linen rate not exceeding 2%; document stain types and root causes; ensure linen replacement is at or below 10%.

• Technical Support: Respond to service calls within 1 hour and dispatch personnel within 12 hours. Provide a dedicated support phone number.

• Documentation: Provide complete documentation of chemical formulas and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

• Testing: Perform quarterly USP 62 testing and Rodac plate testing.
