Scope of Work
This solicitation requires the rental and installation of three (3) portable bulk oxygen trailers with 400-gallon reserve tank back-up systems at Buildings 2, 4, and 78 of the Bedford VA Medical Center. The contractor will be responsible for:
- Supplying and distributing medical-grade liquid bulk oxygen, with an estimated annual usage of 36,500 CF across the three locations (Bldg 2: ~6,180 CF; Bldg 4: ~11,712 CF; Bldg 78: 15,168 CF).
- Removing existing tanks and replacing them with new ones, utilizing temporary trailers to ensure continuous oxygen flow during the process.
- Providing and installing new, contractor-furnished equipment, including a telemetry monitoring satellite system that integrates with the VA's warning system.
- Performing in-service training, providing 24/7 emergency contact, and verifying alarm set points per NFPA 99.
- Identifying and reporting any code deficiencies per NFPA 50, NFPA 55, and ANGI/CGA M-102018.
- Deliveries are scheduled every 14 days on Wednesdays or when the reorder point is reached.
