Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for the removal and disposal of all existing shelving units, and the provision and installation of 41 new anti-microbial shelving units. This includes:
- 20 Antimicrobial aluminum units (8 at 74" H, 10 at 69" H).
- 21 Stainless steel slotted units (12 at 74" H, 11 at 69" H). All units must be 24" Deep x 48" Wide. Key features include louvered/embossed shelf design, donut bumpers, fall arresting bars (defined as the lip of the shelf), label holders (approx. 2.24" x 1.57"), adjustable shelf heights and feet, and four 5" casters per unit (2 swivel, 2 with brakes). Units require a minimum 10-year warranty against rust/corrosion. All packing materials must be removed from the VA facility, and installed shelving must be fully operational.
