Statement of Requirements / Solicitation

To procure gel packs for the Department of Veterans Affairs Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) in Tucson, Arizona, to maintain required temperatures for medication shipments to Veteran patients.

• Provide 42,800 cases of gel packs (48 per case) to the Tucson CMOP.

• Gel Pack Dimensions:

  • Length: 6 7/8 in. minimum to 7 in. maximum
  • Width: 5.3 in. minimum to 5.5 in. maximum
  • Weight: 11.8 oz. minimum to 12.2 oz. maximum

• Packaging:

  • Gel packs to be placed in four even stacks of twelve, separated by a cardboard divider to freeze flat.
  • Cardboard boxes to have specific hole configurations (two 3"x½" on long side, one 3"x½" centered on short side).
