This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract to establish a 1-year contract for the supply of a variety of fresh sandwiches for the VA San Diego Healthcare System. The period of performance is from February 1, 2026, through January 31, 2027. Shipping terms are FOB Destination, and shipping costs must be included in the unit price.

• Provision of various fresh sandwich types, including Roast Beef, Turkey, Vegetarian, Peanut Butter/Jelly, Egg Salad, Chicken Salad, and Tuna Salad.

• Specific sandwich descriptions and estimated quantities are provided.

• All ready-to-eat food must be packed in food-grade containers, temperature-controlled, refrigerated, and sealed. No preservatives are allowed.

• Sandwiches must meet specific fill weight and freshness requirements (at least 5 days after delivery).

• Contractor facilities must meet sanitary standards, and food preparation must adhere to FDA and state/local regulations.

• Contractor personnel must wear uniforms and maintain a neat appearance.

• Contractor's distribution facilities must be located within an 80-mile radius of the VA San Diego Medical Center.
