- Vendor Certified Reports of Test and Inspection (ROTI): A complete package per DI-QCIC-8872 (latest revision) is due at the End of Contract (EOC) to NAVSUP-WSS, Code N9433. Authorization to ship material must be obtained from the PCO. Recommended submission via WAWF or high-quality electronic means (fax: 717-605-8054).
- Pre-manufacturing Submittals: One package of applicable procedures, drawings, and other pre-manufacturing submittals per DI-QCIC-8871 is due within 45 Days After Contract (DAC) award to the Contracting Officer (NAVSUP-WSS code N9433).
- Quality Assurance: Requirements are detailed in the IRPOD. Contractors must maintain an inspection system acceptable to the Government.
- Packaging: Specific cleanliness controls (MIL-STD-767, MIL-STD-2041, Refueling Clean, Reactor Plant Clean) and packaging standards (MIL-PRF-23199, MIL-DTL-24466) apply. Fire retardant packaging is no longer required. MIL-STD 2073 packaging also applies.
- Waivers/Deviations: Requests for delivery date extensions or waivers/deviations must include an explanation, justification, and an offer of consideration, demonstrating no adverse effect on quality, form, fit, or function. These requests must be presented to the Government Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) for comment.
- Mercury Exclusion: Mercury or mercury-containing compounds shall not be intentionally added to or come into direct contact with hardware or supplies.
