Quick Summary
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Louisville District is soliciting proposals for the Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) Power Generation and Microgrid Project in Anniston, AL. This Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside opportunity seeks to construct a microgrid system with full islanding capability for energy resiliency. Proposals are due June 29, 2026, at 02:00 PM EDT.
Scope of Work
The project involves constructing a microgrid system at ANAD to provide onsite, automated energy control and generation storage management. This microgrid will integrate new and existing generation assets with the Nichols, Demil, and Eulaton 46kV/12.47kV substations to enable islanding for all critical loads. During grid outages, automated switching and microgrid controls will facilitate direct routing of electricity to mission-critical loads and load shedding of non-critical loads. The design must comply with Unified Facility Criteria 4-010-066 Cybersecurity of Facility Related Control Systems or current policy.
