Justification for Sole Source
FARO Technologies, Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the sole owner of the proprietary technical data, internal firmware, diagnostic software, and adjustment algorithms essential for factory-level calibration. No other source is authorized to perform these services without voiding existing manufacturer warranties. Furthermore, no other third-party providers are certified or authorized by the OEM for these specialized services.
Response Information

However, the Government will consider written capability statements from responsible sources received within ten (10) calendar days of this notice's publication. Interested parties must provide documentation demonstrating their OEM-authorized status, access to proprietary data, and certified ability to perform the required services without voiding the existing warranty.
