The USGS requires a firm, fixed-price contract for three consecutive years of access to a data package. This package must allow users to download and analyze data, including:

  • Data Center Information: Location, cooling technology, type, building parameters, tenancy, renewable technology implemented, and other metadata describing data center operations for all 50 states.
  • Data Format: Machine-readable, tabular dataset.
  • Additional Content: Facilities database, plus research covering capacity, utilization, products, technologies, strategies, trends, and AI's impact on the sector.
  • Technologies Covered: Cooling, connectivity, demand-side energy approaches, redundancy, IT hardware and software for data center management (e.g., DCIM), and 'edge' datacenters.

Also, specify the capacity in which work was performed (e.g., prime, subcontractor).
  3. Size Status: Your company's small business size status.
