Scope of Work

The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor to replace existing wooden fencing with new chain-link fencing.

  • Building 348: Remove existing wooden fencing and framing, then install approximately 141 linear feet of 6-foot-tall brown vinyl-coated chain-link fence with brown slats and one 4'-0" x 6'-0" swing gate.
  • Building 916: Remove existing wooden fencing and framing, then install approximately 66 linear feet of 6-foot-tall brown vinyl-coated chain-link fence with brown slats and one 7'-0" x 6'-0" swing gate.
  • All materials are contractor-furnished, and the contractor is responsible for the disposal of all waste and debris off-base. Fencing must withstand 90 mph wind loads, and a lightning protection system with a maximum grounding resistance of 25 ohms is required.

Evaluation Factors

Special Requirements & Important Notes

  • Payments: No advanced payments will be made. Payment will be a fixed-price award for completed work.
  • Base Access: Contractor personnel require base identification and vehicle passes. An Entry Authorization List (EAL) form (Attachment 5) is required for base access, including for the site visit. Digital EALs are mandatory.
  • Health & Safety: Contractors must comply with DAF Occupational Safety and Health (AFOSH) Standards.
  • Wage Determination: Attachment 3 provides the U.S. Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act for Mississippi, which bidders must factor into pricing.
  • Ombudsman: An ombudsman is available for concerns, but issues should first be addressed with the contracting officer.
  • Monitoring: Vendors are responsible for monitoring the solicitation for updates.
