Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide initial and annual psychological evaluations for all VA Police Officers, including supervisors, training officers, detectives, chiefs, and deputy chiefs. This also includes pre-employment evaluations for job candidates with conditional offers and ad-hoc fitness-for-duty evaluations. Evaluations must adhere to VHA Directive 0730(1) and typically involve a Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI), Arizona Personality Inventory (CPI), Personal History Questionnaire, Clinical Interview, and a Written Report. A one-page report indicating Pass/Fail and firearm recommendation must be submitted to the Occupational Health Physician. Approximately 90 evaluations are anticipated annually.
