Scope of Work
The contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for:
- Barge #600 Spud Well Repair: Welding repairs to the damaged and leaking spud well box of Equipment Barge #600. This includes identification, removal, handling, and disposal of lead-based paint, and performing work within a designated Permit-Required Confined Space. Reinforcement will be added to the spud well box.
- ESCO Excavator Bucket Repairs: Welding and installation of AR450 or AR500 wear plates, side cutters, weld-on corner protectors, and additional reinforcement on two (2) ESCO excavator buckets. This includes rebuilding worn areas and ensuring correct engagement and functionality.
Performance Standards & Requirements
All work must comply with contract documents and applicable standards, including ASTM A36, EM 385-1-1, OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1926.62, 1926, 1910), RCRA, and OSHA Directive CPL 2.100 for confined space entry. Welds must meet structural, quality, and inspection standards for marine repairs. No NDT testing is required beyond visual inspection, but the spud well and bulkhead must be watertight. Standard work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; extended hours are not permitted.

- ESCO Bucket Repairs: March 16, 2026, to April 1, 2026.
- Barge #600 Repairs: April 1, 2026, to May 1, 2026.
