Scope of Work

The contract requires the remediation of a 150' Rohn 55 guyed lattice-based communication tower. Key tasks include:

Guy system tensioning in accordance with TIA-222 Rev. H specifications.
Installation of guy wire bracket assemblies.
Installation of tower lightning protection.
Corrosion abatement and minor repairs.
Installation of new security wire on the perimeter fence (approx. 40' x 40').
Lowering two single dipole antennas by 7 ft. and re-terminating transmission lines.
Ensuring grounding connections resistance meets NFPA 780 preferred standard (10 ohms, 25 ohms max). The selected contractor must furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials, and technical expertise.

Period & Place of Performance

Work will be performed at the USFS field site at Bean Ridge, Shawnee National Forest, Thebes, IL (Latitude 37°14'54.91"N, Longitude 89°22'42.72"W). All work must be completed within 30 days of the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
