Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the requirements for the Contractor to engineer, furnish, install, and test (EFI&T) premise wiring within building B419 at Pittsburgh IAP ARS to support Wireless Access Points (WAP).

• Provide all materials, transportation, labor, management, tools, and incidentals for the project.

• All materials must be new and not refurbished.

• Identify and coordinate base support requirements (e.g., laydown and storage areas) with 911OG.

• Restore all disturbed grounds/base property to its original condition or better.

• Responsible for project waste removal and disposal in accordance with Federal, State, local, and base environmental laws and regulations. Removed premise wiring to be transported to DRMO.

• Engineer, furnish, and install premise wiring infrastructure.

• Install Cat 6 cables, blue in color, home-run from user drop to patch panel. Cable runs not to exceed 300 feet.

• Install 23 single drops for Wireless Access Points.

• Use specified Leviton termination hardware (Opti-X and Quickport).

• Label all new premise wiring installations according to the Pittsburgh IAP ARS label scheme (Attachment #2).

• Test and certify all new cable installations to Category 6 specifications.

• Restore all working areas to their original condition.

• Provide CAT 6 UTP RJ45 Patch Cords (blue).

• All work must comply with industry and applicable standards (detailed in Section 8.0).

• Test and certify all new cable installations to Category 6 specifications.

• Provide a detailed acceptance test plan and conduct on-site testing.

• Period of Performance: Not to exceed three months after the project start.

• Place of Performance: Pittsburgh IAP ARS.

• Hours of Work: Routinely during normal operating hours (0700-1500, Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays). Off-hours work requires coordination and notification.

• Management: Provide a complete milestone schedule and a full-time, on-site Project Manager.

• Quality Assurance: Provide quality assurance support throughout the project, including weekly progress reports.

• Compliance: Adhere to all Federal, State, county, and base security and safety laws, regulations, policies, and requirements.

• Environmental Management: Comply with stringent environmental laws and regulations. Be aware of potential asbestos.

• Security: Work performed at UNCLASSIFIED level. DoD Secret Security Clearance may be required for certain personnel. Process Site Visit Request Letter for base access at least one week prior to arrival.

• Deliverables: As-Built Drawings, Work Schedule, Status Reports, Meeting Minutes, Test Report, Test Plan.

• Warranty: One-year warranty or manufacturer's standard commercial warranty, whichever is longer, plus a one-year workmanship warranty.
