Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide labor, oversight, materials, and equipment to remove and replace the existing boiler system at the Museum of the Plains Indians, Building #90, located at 19 Museum Loop, Browning, Montana 59417.

• Boiler Replacement: Remove the current single boiler system and install a new two-boiler system. This includes designing and installing new boilers, digital controls, associated piping, and pressure reducing valves.

• Structural Work: Design and construct a spread-footing and raised pedestal on the existing basement floor to securely anchor the new boilers.

• Piping Remediation: Remediate all boiler system piping in the basement.

• Asbestos Remediation: Address asbestos-containing materials (RACM) in accordance with Tribal, State, and Federal guidelines. Personnel involved must adhere to EPA asbestos certification criteria.

• Waste Disposal: Complete removal of all waste and debris in accordance with state and local laws.
