Quality & Compliance
This is a Critical Safety Item (CSI) procurement. Government Quality Assurance (GQA) at source is required, and the contractor's quality system and products are subject to evaluation and inspection. All certification data, including test reports, must be 100% inspected for completeness and legibility. Waivers and deviations require Contracting Officer approval.
Submission Requirements
Certification data must be submitted to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard via Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) for review and acceptance prior to each shipment. WAWF entries must specify "Ship to" N50286, "Inspect by" N39040, and "Accept by" N39040, with email notification to PORT_PTNH_WAWF_NOTIFICATION@NAVY.MIL. No material is to be shipped without acceptance.
