Scope of Work
The DLA requires a comprehensive maintenance and repair service agreement for a Stitch and Fold B3000 Booklet maker and Trimmer (Serial Number: 23006B3). The agreement will cover up to 60 months, consisting of a 12-month base period and up to four 12-month option periods. Services include:
- Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Full-coverage, consistent with commercial Equipment Maintenance Agreements (EMAs).
- Parts Replacement: Use of new OEM or OEM-authorized equivalent parts.
- Software: Updates and version upgrades (if supported by existing hardware).
- Support: Remote technical support, troubleshooting, and on-site repair services.
- Operator Guidance: Basic operator guidance for proper use and routine troubleshooting.
- Coverage: Unlimited parts, travel, and labor by qualified technicians for covered repairs.
- Service Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM local time, excluding Federal holidays.
- Response Expectations: Acknowledge requests within 30 minutes to 2 business hours; on-site response within 8 business hours if remote resolution is not possible.
- Downtime Standards: Minor repairs (no parts) not to exceed 48 business hours; Major repairs (parts required) not to exceed 5 business days (contingent on parts availability).
- Reporting: Service reports within 5 business days of completion; quarterly reports summarizing service calls and issues.
