Quick Summary
The Department of the Navy, NAVFACSYSCOM MID-ATLANTIC, is soliciting proposals for Building FC65 Exhaust System Repairs at Camp Lejeune, NC. This project, identified as Project No. 25-0014, involves replacing exhaust systems and associated ductwork for three dishwashers in Building FC65 to prevent condensation. Proposals are due April 17, 2026, at 3:00 PM EST.
Scope of Work
The project requires the demolition of existing exhaust fans, ductwork, wiring, and conduit for units F-12, F-7, F-11, and F-6. New installations include properly sized, sloped, stainless-steel ductwork with welded seams, new roof-mounted exhaust fans with backdraft dampers, and new circuit breakers and disconnects. The contractor will also route new electrical and control wiring, connecting dishwashers to the new exhaust fans and integrating fans into the Building Management System (BMS) for monitoring and alarms. A key operational requirement is ensuring new exhaust fans run for an additional 15 minutes after the dishwasher shuts off. Finishing work includes sealing building exits, reinstalling/repairing sheetrock ceilings, painting, and installing new ceiling tiles. Temporary wall installation and lightning grounding cable relocation are also part of the scope. Work must be performed between 8:00 PM and 4:00 AM to minimize disruption to Mess Hall operations.
