Scope of Work
The primary objective is to replace existing exhaust systems and ductwork for three dishwashers in Building FC65 to prevent condensation. Key tasks include:
- Demolition: Removal of existing exhaust fans (F-12, F-7, F-11, F-6), ductwork, wiring, and conduit.
- Installation: Installation of new, properly sized, sloped stainless-steel ductwork with welded seams, new wall-mounted exhaust fans with backdraft dampers, circuit breakers, electrical wiring, and exterior-mounted disconnects.
- Control Systems: Installation of new control wiring connecting dishwashers to new exhaust fans and to the Building Management System (BMS) for monitoring and alarms. New exhaust fans will run for an additional 5 minutes after dishwasher shutoff.
- Finishing: Sealing areas, repairing/painting sheetrock ceilings, installing a new access door (F-12), and installing a temporary wall (F-6) in the storage room.
