Scope of Work

The selected A/E firm will provide comprehensive design services for renovating approximately 8,040 sq ft of existing clinical space. This includes creating new PACU, Pre-op/Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery suites, a Cardiac Cath Lab, an EP Lab, and associated support spaces. Services encompass:

  • Programming, design submissions, site investigation, and asbestos testing.
  • Development of construction documents, technical specifications, cost estimates, and reports.
  • Construction administration services (Part Two, optional).
  • Required disciplines include architectural, interior design, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, technology, medical equipment planning, imaging shielding, physical security, and structural upgrades.
  • The A/E must engage specialized consultants for medical equipment planning, imaging shielding, Master System Integrator (MSI) services, and Industrial Hygiene (CIH) for asbestos testing.
