This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the Removal of Discontinued Cableway Structure. It is a Small Business Set-Aside opportunity.

• Dismantle a discontinued cableway structure at an active gaging station.

• Remove a 1" structural strand, an 850 ft 1/4” cable for aircraft warning markers, and 5/8" backstay cables at each tower.

• Extract and dispose of a submerged concrete anchor block (3.5 ft x 3.5ft x 6ft) from the New River.

• Remove a 30 ft steel tower on the right bank attached to 4 concrete piers.

• Remove remnants of the left bank tower and concrete footers on the stream bank.

• Fill voids resulting from structure removal with appropriate material.

• Restore any disturbed portion of the New River Trail to State Park requirements.

• Haul away all debris, including cable, towers, cable connections, concrete anchors, and concrete piers.

• Erect temporary barricades during demolition and removal.

• Contract Type: Firm-fixed-priced.
