Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To replace an existing Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) unit at the Caliente Crew Quarters in Caliente, Nevada, as the current systems are not functioning properly.

• Provide and install new HVAC units equivalent to existing units and compatible with the current HVAC system components.

• Existing units are 4-ton and 2.5-ton split systems, propane-fired, mounted on ground-level concrete pads.

• Remove and dispose of existing defective units off-site in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.

• Provide and install two new thermostats.

• Provide new gas and electrical connections and new condensation drain lines.

• Obtain any necessary permits.

• Use existing mounting infrastructure and concrete pad; adjust framing or connections as needed.

• Start up and verify system operations, providing a technical demonstration.

• HVAC units must be Energy Star compliant.

• All work must comply with the 2023 National Electrical Code, 2024 International Building Code, and other applicable codes and industry standards.

• Submit new HVAC system recommendations and manufacturer specifications for government review.

• Provide manufacturer's operation and maintenance manual.

• Complete final HVAC system installation and operation inspection, including testing and verification.
