Scope of Work
The contractor shall furnish all labor for the daily operation and minor maintenance of the 111-campsite Winhall Brook Camping Area, including the contact station and host campsite. Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for campers and visitors.
- Managing the contact station, including opening, closing, gate management, check-in/out procedures, and cleaning.
- Utilizing the Recreation One Stop (R1S) system for reservation management.
- Providing information, visitor assistance, and enforcing campground rules and regulations.
- Performing duties such as selling "America the Beautiful" passes, collecting dump station fees, selling firewood, conducting campsite inspections, and litter removal.
- Maintaining cleanliness and order within the camping area and the host campsite.
- Providing two fully qualified personnel (21+ years old, physically and mentally capable) as Park Attendants, who must have First-Aid and CPR certifications.
- Complying with USACE Safety and Occupational Health Requirements (EM 385-1-1) and applicable OSHA standards, including preparing and submitting a site-specific Accident Prevention Plan (APP) and Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA).
