Scope of Work
The contractor will provide a qualified Catholic Musician/Organist and Cantor for regular Sunday Masses (0900 & 1215) at the Marine Memorial Chapel, as well as special/seasonal Masses, Holy Days of Obligation, and funeral/memorial services. Responsibilities include providing all music (preludes, postludes, congregational, offertories, anthems, choral, service music), coordinating selections with the Catholic Priest according to Roman Rite rubrics, conducting choir rehearsals, and providing accompaniment. The contractor must provide all instruments except the chapel organ and piano, and submit music plans one month in advance for regular services.

Key Requirements & Qualifications
Offerors must demonstrate:
- At least five (5) years of current experience as an organist in a military Catholic chapel or Catholic Church, with professional knowledge of Catholic Liturgy/music.
- Minimum of four (4) years of organ experience and two (2) years in music harmonization and accompanying.
- Ability to read, sight-read, play piano/organ, and transpose at sight.
- Demonstrated keyboard proficiency in accompanying choirs and soloists.
- Written evidence of American Guild of Organists (AGO) certification at the basic level and formal organ training.
- Ability to provide a satisfactory, trained substitute when unable to perform.
- Successful completion of a background check and ability to obtain base access.
