Scope of Work
The requirement is for non-personal services as a Catholic Religious Education Coordinator (CREC) to support the 45th Space Launch Delta (SLD) Chaplain Corps. The CREC will administer the Catholic Religious Education (CRE) program for K-12 children, teens, and adults within the PSFB Catholic community. Key responsibilities include recruiting, training, and mentoring Christian educators, planning Vacation Bible School (VBS) if needed, and coordinating religious education in accordance with Air Force Chaplain Corps and Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS) guidelines. Work will primarily be performed at PSFB Chapel facilities (Seaside Chapel and South Patrick Chapel), with potential for virtual performance, requiring a minimum of 30 hours per month.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
The successful contractor must provide a CREC who is a practicing Roman Catholic with a letter of good standing, possesses basic computer skills (MS Office, SharePoint), is fluent in English, and demonstrates positive customer service. A Bachelor's degree in education or a related field (religious studies/theology preferred) is required, along with approval as an AMS Catechist and at least two years of relevant experience. The CREC must also pass a background investigation. Performance will be evaluated against a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP), and the contractor must maintain an effective Quality Control Program (QCP).
