Quick Summary
The Regional Contracting Office-Soto Cano is soliciting proposals for Catered Meal Services in El Salvador for the Centam Guardian 2026 (ExCG-26) exercise. This unrestricted opportunity requires providing non-personal services, including labor, transportation, equipment, and materials, for meals at multiple locations. Proposals are due March 18, 2026, at 12:00 PM CST.
Scope of Work
The contractor will provide daily breakfast and dinner services from April 16-27, 2026, at locations including Ilopango (Special Forces) CEAT, 4th Brigada de Infanteria El Paraiso in Chalatenango, and Nejapa Civil Protection. Services include preparing individual meals, delivery, and adherence to a 6-day rotational menu (7-day for breakfast) with specific nutritional standards (AR 40-25, 136g protein/day). Cold and hot beverages must be offered with each meal. For Chalatenango, on-site meal preparation is preferred, requiring the vendor to arrange a field kitchen setup with the 4th Brigade Salvadoran Army. The government will provide designated structures with tables and chairs for eating at all locations, but contractors must supply their own equipment for serving and all temperature-control assets for food safety.
