Amendment / Modification

Table 152-1 (Construction Survey and Staking Tolerances) replaced with updated values for both Tolerance Class A and B.
• Section 153 (Contractor Quality Control): Subsection 153.02 (Qualifications) replaced with updated requirements for QCM and Testers. A paragraph added to 153.03(b) regarding alternate test methods. Subsection 153.07 (Records and control charts) replaced with updated requirements for maintaining records.
• Section 155 (Schedules for Construction Contracts): Deleted in its entirety.
• Section 156 (Public Traffic): Deleted and replaced with new content detailing work description, materials, construction requirements (including traffic control plan submission, delay limits, and sign posting), temporary traffic control measures, temporary closures (with Table 156-1 detailing parking lot closures), acceptance, and measurement/payment.
• Section 157 (Soil Erosion and Sediment Control): Subsection 157.04 (General) replaced with updated requirements for submitting a written plan 30 days prior to construction and implementing controls.
• Section 207 (Earthwork Geotextiles): Third sentence of Subsection 207.04 replaced regarding cover material placement.
• Section 301 (Untreated Aggregate Courses): Added to Subsection 301.03 (General) regarding surface preparation approval. Subsection 301.05 (Compacting) replaced with detailed methods (A-E) and requirements.
• Section 303 (Roadway Reconditioning): Added to Subsection 303.07 regarding cattleguard deck removal and reinstallation.
• Section 412 (Asphalt Tack Coat): Subsection 412.05(b) (Weather Limitations) replaced with a specific temperature requirement (above 40°F and rising).
• Section 625 (Turf Establishment): Deleted and replaced with new content detailing description, materials, construction requirements (including application timing, reseeding, seedbed preparation, watering/fertilizing requirements), seeding methods (dry and hydraulic with seed mix details), mulching methods (dry and hydraulic with rates), protecting seeded areas, acceptance, measurement, and payment.

Almost all sections from 101 through 625 have been affected by deletions, replacements, or additions.

These changes significantly alter the contract's technical specifications, requirements, and procedures. Bidders must review all modified sections carefully to understand the updated scope of work, quality control measures, traffic management, environmental controls, and acceptance criteria.
