Quick Summary

The National Cancer Institute (NCI), on behalf of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), has issued a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (RFQ 75N98026Q00044-RFQ) for maintenance services for its Olympus Multiphoton Microscope System. This is a non-competitive acquisition with an intent to award a firm fixed-price purchase order to Evident Scientific MIS, Inc., as they are the sole authorized provider of OEM service and parts. Responses from other interested parties are due by March 6, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. EST.

Purpose

The NCI's Center for Cancer Research (CCR) utilizes the Olympus multiphoton microscope system for critical research focusing on basic mechanisms regulating trafficking events in mammalian tissues, particularly membrane remodeling, tumor progression, invasion, and metastasis, using subcellular intravital microscopy.
