Scope of Work
The requirement is for the procurement and delivery of bagged block and crushed ice (40-50 lbs per bag) to Fort Benning, GA. Key requirements include:
- Ice must be consumable, frozen solid, and made from potable water.
- Bags must be delivered on pallets (minimum 40W x 48L).
- The ice producing facility must be vetted through a Military Veterinary/Food Service Specialist and undergo inspections by the Fort Benning VET Clinic every three years.
- The contractor must be located within 100 miles or three hours of Fort Benning, GA.
- Deliveries are required within 72 hours of order notification, between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday (excluding Federal Holidays).
- An end-of-month ordering report reflecting poundage, delivery dates, and money spent is required.
- Two contractors will be awarded and will rotate monthly. Failure to comply with the SOW or delivery schedule will result in forfeiture of monthly calls and potential termination.

- Submission Instructions: Offerors must be responsive and responsible (IAW FAR Part 9.104-1). Submissions should follow instructions in the combined synopsis/solicitation; SF 1449 is not being used.
- Eligibility: Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov and be on the approved Military Veterinary/Food Services list.
