Statement of Work (SOW)

To demolish the historic Coopertown Restaurant building located in Everglades National Park, including hazardous material abatement, complete demolition, and site elevation.

• Demolish a 1,440 sq ft wood-frame structure containing asbestos siding and lead-based paint.

• Abate hazardous materials (asbestos and lead-based paint) in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Dispose of all debris and hazardous materials at licensed facilities.

• Backfill and elevate the site to a finished elevation of 9.2 feet NAVD-88 using suitable aggregate fill.

• Maintain functionality and safety of adjacent airboat operations throughout the project.

• Mobilize equipment, establish erosion control, and disconnect utilities.

• Stabilize exposed soils and clean the site for future development.

• Work to be completed within 60 days after Notice to Proceed.

• Normal business hours are 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, excluding Federal holidays.
