Quick Summary

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island, in support of Project Manager Close Combat Systems and Product Director Demilitarization, intends to issue a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP), W519TC-26-R-0007, for Conventional Ammunition Demilitarization. This effort encompasses the demilitarization, recycling, reuse, treatment, and disposal of various conventional ammunition families. Scope of Work

This procurement is divided into six Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) Groups:

  • CLIN Group 1: 30mm Depleted Uranium (DU) Cartridges (single award)
  • CLIN Group 2: Improved Conventional Munitions (ICM) (multi-award)
  • CLIN Group 3: 20mm Cartridges (single award)
  • CLIN Group 4: Hexachloroethane (HC) Smoke Munitions (multi-award)
  • CLIN Group 5: Flares (multi-award)
  • CLIN Group 6: Rocket Motors from Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) (single award)

Offerors may propose on one, multiple, or all CLIN Groups. The contracts will cover Fiscal Years 2027-2031.

Evaluation

Award will be made to the best overall proposal determined most beneficial to the Government, utilizing best value trade-off processes in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.101-1. The Minimum Guaranteed Quantity (MGQ) will be awarded concurrently with each contract.
