Scope of Work
FFDG requires the provision of:
- One (1) Cryogenic microbulk ASME industrial 3000-liter liquid argon Dewar.
- One (1) Connector assembly, argon tongue flange, 1.5", with dust cap and copper fill gasket.
The Dewar must be designed for outdoor use, include an integrated skid, be forklift accessible, and feature plumbing for quick telemetry/remote monitoring. Key technical requirements include a working pressure rated to or greater than 250 psig (preferably 500 psig), dual relief circuit safety devices, and instrumentation for level and pressure. It must support both gaseous and liquid argon withdrawal and include pressure building and gas use vaporizers. Vendors must also complete a "Fermilab Safety Code Requirements" form.
