Scope of Work
FFDG requires one (1) Cryogenic microbulk ASME industrial 3000-liter liquid argon Dewar and one (1) 1.5" argon tongue flange connector assembly with a dust cap and copper fill gasket. The Dewar must meet detailed technical specifications, including:
- Designed for cryogenic microbulk ASME industrial liquid argon service with vaporizers.
- Integrated hot-dipped galvanized skid, forklift accessibility, and lifting lugs.
- All stainless-steel construction, designed for outdoor use, and drop-shipped to FNAL.
- Maximum footprint of 83" x 70" for placement on an existing concrete pad.
- Working pressure rated to or greater than 250 psig (preferably 500 psig), with operating pressure 100-200 psig.
- Dual relief circuit, VCR preferred interfaces for withdrawal, and level/pressure instrumentation (4-20 mA or 0-10 VDC).
- Must include pressure building and gas use vaporizers.
- Compliance with national codes (preferably ASME BPVC Section VIII) and completion of a "Fermilab Safety Code Requirements" form are mandatory.

This is a Solicitation for a firm fixed-price award. The product will be FOB Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab, Batavia, IL). The work is performed under Prime Contract NO. DE AC02 07CH11359 with the U.S. Department of Energy. FFDG's General Terms and Conditions for Commercial Products and Commercial Services (08.2025) apply and are available online.
