Purpose

Scope of Work
Contractors will provide licensed CT Scan Technologists and/or X-Ray Technologists responsible for performing CT studies and diagnostic Radiology at QNBMHCF. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing a variety of computerized tomography examinations according to physician instructions.
- Receiving and positioning patients, explaining procedures, and making necessary scans.
- Advising radiologists of results and notifying them of significant cases.
- Selecting, setting up, adjusting, and operating equipment, including laser imagers.
- Performing operator-level maintenance and preventative maintenance.
- Establishing and maintaining files and records, and preparing reports.
- Independently operating fixed and portable radiography machines and Digital Radiography workstations.
- Maintaining accurate patient workload and x-ray repeat records.
- Assisting in cardiac arrest situations and being CPR certified.
- Possessing a personal dosimeter for radiation readings.
Personnel Qualifications
Individuals must possess:
- Advanced-level certification by ARRT or NMTCB in CT, OR State Licensure for diagnostic CT with documented training, OR Registration and certification in Radiography by ARRT with documented training, OR Certification in Nuclear Medicine technology by ARRT or NMTCB with documented training.
- Meet ARRT continuing education requirements.
- At least six months of experience in performing CT examinations.
- Proof of PPD and Tdap immunizations (can be obtained from the facility).
- Extensive knowledge of physiology, cross-sectional anatomy, complex radiographic exposure techniques, and radiation protection standards.
- Ability to optimize scans, visualize 3D forms from 2D presentations, and adapt techniques.
Contract Details & Timeline

- Anticipated Period of Performance: A base year plus four 12-month option periods (total of 5 years).
