This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice of Intent to Sole Source. While the VA intends to award to ESAOTE NORTH AMERICA INC due to the proprietary nature of the software, all responsible sources are invited to submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation. Submissions will be evaluated to determine if the sole source acquisition should proceed, with patient care and choice being high priorities. Vendors must ensure all items are FDA approved. Crucially, respondents must be an OEM, authorized dealer, authorized distributor, or authorized reseller and provide documentation demonstrating compliance with VA's Gray Market Items terms and conditions (VAAR 852.212-71 and 852.212-72).
