Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To ensure a 1500 square foot Data Room at the Wilkes Barre VAMC is cleaned to a high standard, free of dust and particulate matter, to support the reliable operation of data processing equipment.

• Provide quarterly cleaning services for the Data Room.

• Perform dusting of all accessible surfaces, including raised floor panels, equipment exteriors, cabinets, shelves, and cable trays.

• Gently clean server racks, cabinets, and external surfaces of servers and network equipment, avoiding disturbance to cables and connections.

• Use HEPA-filtered vacuums for floors, rugs, mats, air vents, and grilles.

• Wipe down surfaces with anti-static cleaning agents.

• Clean and sanitize raised floor tiles and ensure underfloor airflow is unobstructed.

• Clean under raised floors to remove dust and debris without disturbing cabling or equipment.

• Use cleaning agents and equipment specifically designed for data room environments that will not harm sensitive electronic equipment.

• Contractor shall supply all necessary materials, including anti-static cleaning agents, HEPA-filtered vacuums, microfiber cloths, and protective gear.

• All cleaning tasks must adhere to industry best practices and standards for data room environments.

• Random inspections will be conducted by the COR.

• Any deficiencies identified must be corrected within 24 hours at no additional cost to the government.

• Quarterly cleaning services, one visit per quarter.

• Work to be performed Monday through Friday during Administrative Hours Only (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM).

• Location: 1500 sq ft Data Room at Wilkes Barre VAMC, 1111 East End Boulevard Wilkes Barre, PA 18711.

• Contractor staff must wear company badges with company name and employee name.

• Staff should utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.

• Contractor must notify the COR or Technical Point of Contact at least two weeks in advance of a planned service.

• Government will provide access to the data room and any required badges or security clearances.
