Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To perform repairs on three damaged trailers.

• General Requirements: Contractor will pick up trailers from Defense Distribution Center, Susquehanna, transport them to their facility for repairs, and return them upon completion. All supplies and materials are to be included in the repair costs and provided by the contractor. Repairs must be completed according to manufacturer's specifications and coated with primer and paint.

• CLIN001: Trailer, Semi, 20T Van (Model: VXP53)

  • Fault: Support rib and panel on the left side of the trailer are damaged.
  • Tasks: Pick up, transport, remove scuff-guard and bottom support clip, remove damaged rib and associated components, remove damaged panel area and seal/patch, replace rib and rivet support, reinstall bottom support clip and scuff-guard, replace any other removed components, and prep, seal, and paint.

• CLIN002: Trailer, Semi, 6T-10T Van (Model: Research) - Radiological Trailer

  • Fault: Fiberglass roof needs replacement with a metal roof.
  • Tasks: Pick up, transport, remove fiberglass roof and overhead ribs, prep area and install new metal roof per manufacturer's instructions, replace damaged overhead ribs as needed, replace any other removed components, and prep, seal, and paint.

• CLIN003: Trailer, Semi, 20T Van (Model: 011A-1EAU)

  • Fault: Floor needs replacement.
  • Tasks: Pick up, transport, cut out dock plate, remove old decking, inspect and repair/replace cross members, prep/paint/treat cross members, install new decking with new hardware, reinstall dock plate (reuse or fabricate new), and replace any other removed components.

• CLIN004: Added for any unforeseen needed maintenance tasks.

• Period: Not explicitly stated, but implied to be for the duration of the repairs.

The contractor will also be responsible for removal and replacement of any wiring, hoses, lighting, or ancillary equipment necessary to complete the repairs. All repairs must be welded, performed, and installed according to manufacturer's specifications. The repaired areas shall be coated with primer and paint. All supplies and materials are to be included in the repair costs and supplied by the contractor.

CLIN001: Repair of a Semi, 20T Van (Model: VXP53), Serial Number / Asset Number: 5V8VA4827EM401588 / 20181018. Fault: Support rib and panel on the left side of the trailer is damaged. Tasks include removing the damaged rib and components, replacing it with a new rib, and prepping, sealing, and painting the area.

CLIN002: Repair of a Semi, 6T-10T Van (Model: Research), Serial Number / Asset Number: 1PT07AAEOR9010306 / 20212697. Fault: Fiberglass roof needs replacement with a metal roof (Radiological Trailer). Tasks include removing the fiberglass roof and overhead ribs, preparing the area, installing a new metal roof per manufacturer's instructions, replacing damaged overhead ribs, and prepping, sealing, and painting.

CLIN003: Repair of a Semi, 20T Van (Model: 011A-1EAU), Serial Number / Asset Number: 1PT011AK7Y9003746 / 20138804. Fault: Floor needs replacement. Tasks include cutting out the dock plate, removing old decking, inspecting and repairing/replacing cross members, prepping and painting cross members, installing new decking with new hardware, reinstalling the dock plate (fabricating if necessary), and replacing any other removed components.

CLIN004: Additional Maintenance Needs. This CLIN is reserved for any additional maintenance needs not identified in the initial tasks and discovered during repairs. These tasks require vetting and approval through the initial requestor and/or Contracting Officer Representative.
