• Installation Locations: VA can mark locations on plan drawings. Photos are not provided.

• Wall Types: Screens will be mounted on mostly drywall (metal/wood studs) and some tiled walls.

• Screen Orientation: Contractors will provide professional recommendations for optimal screen orientation (landscape/portrait), ensuring ADA compliance.

• Screen Sizing: Contractors will provide recommendations; 65" screens are likely for main entrances, and 47" for other locations.

• Branding: Navy blue color and VA logo similar to the main VA website should be used as a starting point. Design discussions will occur with VASD.

• Power & Data: VASD is responsible for power. Contractors are responsible for cabling and network setup. Hotspot usage may negate the need for data cabling.

• Waste Disposal: Contractors are responsible for their housekeeping and hauling away packaging materials. Only service elevators can be used at the La Jolla Medical Center.

• Material Storage: Contractors are responsible for safely storing materials and tools; no items shall be left unsupervised on-site.

• PO Issuance & Installation: The Purchase Order (PO) will be issued upon contract award. Installation is to begin before June 30, 2026.

• Drawings: Archived floor plan drawings (CAD/PDF) can be provided; locations are being finalized.

• Construction Projects: Multiple active construction projects are underway but do not affect pathfinding screen locations.

• Delivery vs. Installation: The discrepancy between a 5-01-2026 delivery date and a 6-30-2026 installation start date is clarified: Installation begins before June 30th. The PO is issued post-award.

• Facility Details: Specific details are provided for VASD – Jennifer Moreno Medical Center, Kearny Mesa Outpatient Clinic, Chula Vista Outpatient Clinic, and Oceanside Outpatient Clinic regarding buildings, floors, and approximate destinations (to be determined by contractor).

• Financing Clause: FAR 52.232-29 will not be included as this is a firm-fixed-price requirement.
