Quick Summary

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is soliciting quotations for Electrical Outlet Installation services at the FBI Records Center in Winchester, VA. This opportunity is a 100% Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Set-Aside and seeks to install new electrical receptacles and a branch circuit in the CRC Document Laboratory. Award will be made on a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. Quotations are due March 2, 2026, at 3:00 PM ET.

Purpose & Scope of Work

The objective is to furnish and install two (2) new 20-amp quad electrical receptacles and one (1) new 20-amp branch circuit from an existing electrical panel to a new junction box above the ceiling. This infrastructure upgrade is necessary to support new document scanning equipment in the Central Records Complex (CRC) Document Laboratory, as the current setup lacks sufficient dedicated power capacity.

The scope includes the installation of raceways, outlet boxes, wiring, and devices, all in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), applicable state and local electrical codes, and OSHA safety requirements. The contractor will also be responsible for testing and verifying the new outlets, labeling them with circuit numbers, and updating the electrical panel schedule. Work will be performed in an occupied Government facility, requiring coordination for electrical outages and maintaining a clean and safe work area. All materials must be new and commercially available.
