Scope of Work
The requirement is for one (1) new 150kW Diesel Generator Set or approved equal, including delivery, on-site commissioning and testing, operator training, drawings, and operation/maintenance manuals. The generator will serve as a backup power source for the Cougar Adult Fish Collection Facility.
Key Requirements / Deliverables
- Generator Set: 150kW Emergency Standby Power (ESP) rating, EPA Certified, 480/277 Volt, 3-Phase, 4-wire electrical system. Physical dimensions not to exceed 165" L x 45" W x 99" H. Must provide dimensional drawings.
- Sound-Attenuated Enclosure: Weather-protective, sound-attenuated (max 79 dBA at 23 feet), galvanized steel, corrosion-resistant, with lockable doors, removable panels, enclosed exhaust, and interior lighting.
- Integrated Fuel Tank System: Factory-integrated, dual-wall, UL 142 Listed, 402-gallon capacity (35 hours run time at 100% load), with spill containment, overfill protection, and low-level/leak detection systems.
- Engine System: Standard production model, turbocharged, air-to-air aftercooled, four-stroke-cycle, compression-ignition, with 120VAC Jacket Water Heater and closed crankcase ventilation.
- Electrical System: Permanent Magnet Excitation (PME) alternator, 100% rated 3-pole, 250-amp main circuit breaker, and integrated 10-amp battery charger.
- Control and Monitoring System: Modbus RS-485 communication interface for SCADA integration, providing Generator Running Status, Common Fault Status, Engine Speed, Oil Pressure, Coolant Temperature, and Fuel Level. Modbus register map documentation required.
- Battery System: Heavy-duty starting batteries, rack, cables, and lockable disconnect switch.
