Services require one uniformed Nationally Registered EMT (NREMT) or California state EMT equivalent for on-island services, working under the direction of the NPS Medical Director and adhering to NPS EMS Protocols. Key responsibilities include administering emergency medical services, notifying authorities, providing bi-weekly schedules, maintaining a professional image, conducting foot patrols, and ensuring proper documentation. The contractor must also submit a work plan and a health and safety plan (HASP).
