  • Panel, Power Distrib (NSN: 6110-01-275-8549 WF, P/N: 16E2504-841, Estimated Quantity: 10 EA)

Key Requirements / Qualification

All items require engineering source approval by the design control activity to maintain part quality. Offerors must demonstrate existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge. Alternate sources must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. Award will only be made if the offeror, product, or manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award, per FAR clause 52.209-1.

Specific Manufacturing Qualification Requirements (MQR) documents detail the qualification process for each NSN:

  • General MQR Steps: Offerors must notify the government of their intent to qualify, certify access to necessary facilities/equipment/personnel, possess a complete data package (including specific drawings like Lm Aero 16E3634 or LMAERO 16E2504), manufacture to ESA-approved data (including UID), submit a qualification test plan for approval, conduct testing, and provide a pre-contract award qualification article for form, fit, and function evaluation.

  • Eligibility: Offerors must be fully qualified before the contract award date. The award will not be delayed to allow vendors to meet qualification standards. Waiver criteria for qualification may apply.
