Quick Summary
The F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO) is hosting an Unclassified IT Industry Day on June 11, 2026, at Fort Belvoir, VA, with a virtual attendance option. This event aims to discuss upcoming requirements for Information Technology (IT) and Information Assurance (IA)/Cybersecurity Services (CS). The anticipated contract will fall under NAICS 541513 (Computer Facility Management Services) with a $34.0 Million size standard, structured as a base plus four option years.
Purpose of Industry Day
This industry day serves as a vital forum for transparent communication and collaboration between the F-35 JPO and industry partners. It offers vendors an opportunity to understand the Government's requirements, ask clarifying questions, and network. Feedback and information gathered will help the JPO refine its requirements for the upcoming procurement.
Scope of Anticipated Requirement
The F-35 JPO requires comprehensive IT and IA/CS support for its Joint Virtual Enterprise (JVE) network and standalone workstations. This support is critical for mission effectiveness and F-35 capabilities across all directorates. Services include, but are not limited to:
- Program Management
- Enterprise Performance Management
- Enterprise Architecture
- Emerging Capabilities and Requirements Implementation
- Life Cycle Management
- Operations & Maintenance
- Enterprise Data Management and Storage
- Service Desk Support
- IT Training
- End-User Capabilities and Support
- Cybersecurity Incident Response
The contractor will manage the JVE network for unclassified communications and coordinate with classified systems contractors. The Draft PWS outlines a 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods, with performance primarily in Arlington, VA, and other F-35 JPO sites globally. Personnel will require SECRET and TOP SECRET clearances and U.S. citizenship.
