Quick Summary

The Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Regional Office is soliciting proposals for an Integrated Vegetation Management (IVM) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the Bonneville Unit Mitigation Lands. This effort aims to control noxious and invasive weeds to achieve desired fish and wildlife habitat outcomes and improve biological diversity. Quotes are due February 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM MS Local Time.

Scope of Work

The contractor will provide comprehensive IVM services, including managing and controlling noxious and invasive weeds and undesired vegetation across various terrains, from steep uplands to riparian areas and wetlands. Tasks encompass initial assessment, treatment planning, application, and follow-up assessments. Performance will be measured against criteria specified per Task Order, potentially including limits on noxious weed cover (e.g., less than 10%) and effective weed control (e.g., 75%). All treatments must comply with the Integrated Vegetative Management Plan (IVM Plan). Special requirements include developing a Safety Plan, possessing commercial applicator licenses for Utah, providing all necessary equipment and herbicides, submitting chemical lists for approval, GIS mapping of treated areas, and annual reporting.
