Scope of Work

Contractors will be responsible for providing and maintaining an Off-Range Corral facility, including:

  • Animal Care: Unloading, sorting, restraining, feeding (quality hay, salt, minerals, water), and maintaining animals in moderate condition (Henneke score 5-7).
  • Health Services: Furnishing veterinary services (vaccinations, deworming, EIA tests, emergency treatment up to $350/year per animal) and hoof trimming.
  • Facility Management: Providing adequate corrals (minimum 700 sq ft per animal for holding, 400 sq ft for separate corrals), covered working areas, ensuring pens are clean and dry, and maintaining facility security (fenced, locked gates).
  • Logistics & Reporting: Sorting, segregating, loading animals, disposing of carcasses, and submitting daily feed/care logs, incident reports, and transportation notifications. Annual completion of BLM’s mandatory CAWP training is required.

Contract Details

  • Contract Type: Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) task orders.
  • Period of Performance: Five (5) years from contract award (one base year and four 1-year ordering periods).
  • Maximum Contract Value (Region 1): $4,000,000.00.
  • Minimum Order Guarantee: $10,000.00 per IDIQ.
